Marusia Yaworska Entrance Scholarship:
Scholarship for two graduate level students in music from Ukraine or Canada to study anywhere in the world. Two one-time awards of $5,000(Can) per year. Must submit recordings. Deadline is March 31.

Alberta Ukrainian Centennial Commemorative Scholarship:
Two nonrenewable scholarships for one Ukrainian graduate student to study in Alberta and one Canadian graduate student from Alberta to study in Ukraine. Scholarships are awarded every other year. Deadline: February 1.

John Sopinka Scholarship:
This scholarship named in honor of a former Supreme Court Justice of Canada is administered by the Chair of the Ukrainian Studies Foundation.

Ukrainian Credit Union Award, District School Board Of Niagara, ON:
Applicant must be a member at the Ukrainian Credit Union for at least one year and must have above average academic achievement, be involved in community and extra-curricular activities and be pursuing post-secondary education. Moving Up Scholarship:
Carpathia Credit Union will annually award a $500 scholarship to reward all-around excellence. This scholarship will be awarded on the basis of high academic standing and noteworthy participation in extracurricular activities in school and the Ukrainian Community. Applicants must be members of the Carpathia Credit Union Moving Up Program. Applicants must be currently attending high school and graduating in June of the current year. Applicants will be attending an approved post secondary institution in the fall of the current year. All applications must be received by the end of the third week of May annually.

Ukrainian Community Society of Ivan Franko Scholarships:
Two scholarships offered annually to students between the ages of 13 and 18. Must be affiliated with the Ukrainian Community Society of Ivan Franko, through personal or family membership. Post-secondary ($500) for study at an approved college or university. The Society is located at 5311 Francis Road, Richmond, BC V7C 1K2.

Osvita Distinguished Achievement Award:
The awards are open to Calgary students entering or returning to any degree, diploma or certificate program at any recognized, accredited post-secondary educational institution, or to exceptional non-resident students seeking their degree, diploma or certificate at a recognized, accredited post-secondary institution in Calgary. Application deadline is August 1. An award is made only once to a recipient.

Applicants must be Windsor area residents of Ukrainian ancestry and be either attending or about to attend university or college. Another listing mentions that the student must be registered at the University of Windsor; July 15 is the deadline for receipt of applications for Ukrainian Women’s Organization scholarships; Awards will be presented at the September scholarship tea.
